DCW Seagull suspension lamp

DCW Seagull is a designer suspension lamp created by Thierry Dreyfus in 2023 for DCW Éditions. Its elongated, curved silhouette is inspired by the lightness of a seagull's wings in flight, with nine horizontal tubes in aluminium, steel and transparent PMMA that diffuse a soft, even and glare-free LED light. The antique bronze finish lends the piece a refined and contemporary character, perfectly suited to modern and elegant interiors. The integrated 40W LED delivers 4000 lumens of diffused emission at a colour temperature of 2700K warm white, with an optional 2400K filter available for even more intimate atmospheres. The lamp is dimmable via TRIAC, and the integrated constant-current driver — 1050 mA, 40W — ensures stable and consistent power supply. DALI or CASAMBI versions are available on request for more advanced control options.

With a diffuser width of 260 mm and a ceiling rose length of 890 mm, the Seagull is designed for spacious environments where its sculptural presence can be fully appreciated. The 3 m transparent cable simplifies installation while preserving the visual clarity of the composition, and the 13 kg net weight reflects the solidity of its construction. With IP20 protection and insulation class II, it is intended exclusively for indoor use.
