DCW NL12 suspension lamp

DCW NL12 is a suspension lamp by the brand DCW, designed by Sebastian Summa to illuminate large dining tables with a refined and original optical effect. Its structure, crafted in aluminium, borosilicate glass and acrylic with a black finish, features twelve tubes arranged to exploit the phenomenon of refraction and the prism effect, distributing light evenly and creating a captivating visual illusion.

Despite the apparent complexity of the system, only one of the twelve tubes acts as the central light source: the light is then diffused to the remaining elements through an ingenious combination of refraction, giving the impression that all tubes emit their own light. The result is a soft, enveloping illumination, ideal for a convivial atmosphere around the dining table — a perfect fit for a contemporary living room or an open-plan kitchen. The lamp features an integrated 48 W LED with a colour temperature of 2700K for warm, welcoming light and a luminous flux of 4800 lm. Power supply is compatible with the main international standards thanks to an input voltage of 100-240 V, suitable for use in Europe, Australia, USA, UK and Japan. The lamp reaches a total height of 3975 mm with a 4.5 m cable, and is supplied complete with a canopy and integrated driver. The IP20 rating confirms its suitability for indoor use, while insulation class II ensures a high standard of electrical safety. This version is not dimmable and has a black finish with a net weight of 7.65 kg.
