DCW Munari 8 suspension lamp

Munari 8 by DCW éditions is a contemporary suspension lamp designed by Lutz Pankow. Its structure, crafted in steel, aluminium and polycarbonate, features eight integrated LED light sources enclosed in opaline spheres arranged on thin, geometric metal rods, delivering a soft and uniform diffused light. Available in gold and black finishes, the lamp is the perfect expression of the minimalist and sculptural aesthetic that defines the DCW éditions brand.

The architecture of the Munari 8 is reminiscent of both a constellation of planets and the trajectories of a magnetic field, lending the lamp an ethereal, almost weightless appearance. This balance between visual lightness and structural solidity makes it a statement piece capable of enhancing modern and design-led interiors, from the living room to the dining area. The eight LED spheres produce a diffused light emission with a colour temperature of 2400 K for a warm, enveloping atmosphere, and a luminous flux of 5121 lm. The system is dimmable via an integrated TRIAC/CV/24 V driver, and the power cord reaches a maximum length of 5000 mm, with a Ø 240 mm canopy included. The IP20 protection rating confirms its suitability for indoor use. Key dimensions include a diffuser height of 420 mm, a width of 1560 mm and a total diameter of Ø 450 mm, with an input voltage of 220-240 V and compatibility with EU, AUS, USA, UK and JAP standards. The Munari 8 is also available in versions with six and ten light sources.
