DCW In The Sun is a portable battery lamp designed by Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost and Dominique Perrault for DCW, inspired by the Sun King and the grandeur of Versailles. Its steel structure, with refined architectural forms, blends an industrial character with timeless elegance, enhanced by four available base and diffuser combinations: Gold+Gold, Silver+Silver, Gold+Silver and Silver+Gold. The integrated 2.5 W LED delivers warm light at 2700 K with diffused emission, adjustable across 5 brightness levels via push button, ensuring the ideal atmosphere at every moment.

Portable and self-sufficient thanks to its rechargeable battery — with up to 7 hours of autonomy and full recharge in approximately 3 hours via the included USB cable (Type A and C, 1 m) — In The Sun is ideal for enhancing a living room, creating intimate home settings or adding a refined touch to restaurant and lounge tables. With compact dimensions of Ø130×127 mm and a weight of just 0.8 kg, it can be placed effortlessly in any indoor space (IP20). The charger is not included and available on request.
