Window Garden Pendant is the suspended planter system designed in 2016 by BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group) for Danese Milano, conceived for vertical hydroponic cultivation in interior spaces. The modular structure is composed of glazed porcelain vases manufactured by Rosenthal, aligned along thin steel cables to create a suspended composition of refined formal elegance. The supporting frame is crafted in powder-coated metal, resulting in a solution that combines technical precision with an understated minimalist aesthetic.

The Danese Milano Window Garden Pendant transforms the concept of the domestic window garden into a vertical decorative element, enhancing any living environment. Each vase, with a diameter of 120 mm and a height of 140 mm, features a specially designed internal section that supports soil-free plant growth: water and nutrients are distributed through a shared irrigation system fed by a separate reservoir measuring Ø295 × H 350 mm, capable of supplying up to a maximum of 8 vases simultaneously. A small groove along the rim of each vase allows the steel cable to pass through and secure the containers to the suspended structure. The system is available in two versions: Version 01 with 4 vases and Version 02 with 5 vases, enabling vertical compositions adaptable to the proportions of the space. The total installation height reaches 2500 mm, making it suited to both the living room and high-ceilinged workspaces. Please note that the submersible pump is not included in the supply.
