Created in 1984, Theoretical Reconstruction of an Imaginary Object, Pink is a five-color silkscreen print that reflects Bruno Munari’s analytical and experimental approach to visual research. The work explores the conceptual reconstruction of an imaginary object derived from fragments and residual traces, following a method of random investigation into forms, materials, and structures.

Through layered graphic elements, torn paper shapes and dynamic linear connections, Munari transforms an investigative process into a balanced visual composition where intuition and method coexist. The vibrant pink background intensifies the contrast between abstraction and structure, reinforcing the conceptual strength of the piece.
