Danese Milano I Volti, Quattro screen printing

I Volti, Quattro is a screen printing by Mimmo Paladino, produced by Danese Milano as part of the Giocosa Mente series — a project conceived to celebrate the centenary of Bruno Munari's birth. The work takes inspiration from Paladino's eponymous video, described as "a work made of moving images", in which the artist pays homage to Munari's playful and experimental approach to creativity. The subject is a stylised human profile built from essential shapes and vibrant colour accents: through minimal lines and bold graphic contrasts, Paladino evokes the expressive power of Munari's visual language, where play, imagination and intuition become central elements of artistic research.

The work is available in two distinct versions. The first is a limited edition of 200 copies, produced using a three-colour silkscreen technique on Hahnemühle machine-made paper at 300 g/m², in the format 700 x 500 mm. The second is a limited signed edition of 50 copies, executed with a three-colour silkscreen and collage technique on Arches handmade paper at 640 g/m², conveying an additional level of uniqueness and artisanal refinement. In both cases, formal simplicity combines with remarkable visual presence, transforming the image into a contemporary graphic icon that bridges art, design and visual communication. A work ideally suited to enrich refined residential environments such as the living room or the office, where its aesthetic quality and cultural significance can be fully appreciated.
