Danese Milano I Volti, Due silkscreen printing

I Volti, Due is a silkscreen print by Mimmo Paladino produced by Danese Milano, created in 2007 as part of the Giocosa Mente series. The work pays tribute to the creative legacy of Bruno Munari, celebrated through a visual project inspired by the eponymous video with which Paladino honours the master on the centenary of his birth. The stylised face is constructed using simple lines and vibrant colours, rendered through a six-color silkscreen technique that gives the composition a character that is at once playful and expressive.

Through this vibrant visual language, Paladino evokes the spirit of experimentation, imagination and play that defines Munari's work. The graphic simplicity and energetic forms transform the face into a symbolic image that combines spontaneity, rhythm and colour, continuing the dialogue between contemporary art and the cultural and educational approach that has always been central to the vision of Danese Milano. Measuring 700 × 500 mm, the work is available in two editions: a limited edition of 200 pieces, produced as a silkscreen print on Hahnemühle 300 g/m² paper, and a signed limited edition of just 50 pieces, executed using a mixed silkscreen and collage technique on Arches 640 g/m² paper. An autographed version is also available upon request at an additional cost.
