Danese Milano Drawing No. 12 is a framed wall clock designed by Ron Gilad between 2006 and 2017. Presented as a framed drawing depicting the interior of a room, the piece reinterprets the function of a clock through a poetic and conceptual visual language. The structure combines screen-printed cardboard, aluminium, glass, lime wood and steel hands, with dimensions of 500 x 700 mm, resulting in an object that sits halfway between a work of art and an everyday functional piece.

Within the tranquil architectural scene depicted in the illustration, the clock hands become an integral part of the composition, subtly integrating the measurement of time into the represented space. What appears to be a simple drawing reveals itself as a constructed image in which elements of reality and representation coexist: the hands act as a living component, transforming the static image into a dynamic object that changes continuously. Drawing No. 12 reflects Ron Gilad's approach to objects, where everyday functions are incorporated into minimalist and thoughtful compositions, and belongs to the Danese Milano collection of objects that blend art, design and narrative. Thanks to its conceptual and aesthetic nature, it is perfectly suited to enhance a living room or any domestic environment where functionality and visual research come together.
