Contardi Mikado wall lamp

Contardi Mikado is a designer wall lamp created by Massimiliano Raggi in 2017 for Contardi, part of a collection inspired by the aesthetics of fine jewellery. Its structure combines rectangular brass tubes and oblique cubes in engraved crystal, available in two finishes — transparent and prism — that lend the fixture an exceptional sense of refinement. The geometric compositions, apparently random like the Mikado game, in fact follow a precise and balanced pattern, making each arrangement both luminous and harmonious.

The integrated LED sources, positioned inside the brass tubes to enhance the brilliance of the crystal, deliver warm light at 3000 K with a colour rendering index greater than 90, ensuring outstanding colour quality. The lamp is available in two versions of 8 W and 16 W, both dimmable and powered at 220–240 V via an included driver, with compatibility with the main home automation systems. Its IP20 rating makes it ideal for indoor use. Mikado brings a touch of sculptural elegance to the living room or bedroom, where the interplay of light through the engraved crystal becomes a defining feature of the space.
