Contardi G+T battery lamp

Contardi G+T battery lamp is a portable reading lamp designed by Jan Van Lierde for Contardi, combining luxury and functionality in a refined design object. The head evokes the shape of a cocktail jigger — just as the name G+T, short for gin & tonic, suggests — while the arm is crafted in brass covered with woven leather, giving the piece a sophisticated, artisanal character. With a total height of 600 mm and a cross-section of just 35 × 30 mm, it stands out for its slender, elegant silhouette.

The battery version with magnetic connection makes it exceptionally versatile, conceived to meet specific installation requirements where wiring is not permitted: contexts such as yachts, superyachts, historic buildings or exclusive boutiques. It is equally well suited to a living room or bedroom setting, wherever a stylish light source is desired without structural constraints. The integrated 3 W light source emits a warm 3000 K light with a colour rendering index greater than 90, ensuring vivid and natural colour reproduction. The dimmable function allows the light intensity to be adjusted to suit the desired atmosphere. G+T is also available in wall, reading and suspension versions.
