Contardi Calypso wall lamp

Calypso by Contardi is a wall lamp with a strongly evocative character, inspired by the Art Déco aesthetic of the 1920s, reinterpreted with a contemporary and geometric sensibility. Designed by the studio Servomuto, this applique stands out for an elegant metal arm with a matt black silk lacquered finish and a refined satin brass ring supporting the shade. The transparent glass diffuser houses a dimmable LED light source rated at 14 W, compatible with an input voltage of 220–240V and requiring no external driver. The fabric lampshade, the true centrepiece of the design, is available in the Antigua, Guadalupe and Martinique variants, each featuring distinct shapes, decorations and vivid colours inspired by South American and tropical culture: an imaginative and exclusive combination that gives the lamp a powerful visual presence.

Calypso establishes itself as a decorative centrepiece capable of defining the character of the most refined residential interiors. Its silhouette — 545 mm wide, 520 mm tall and 360 mm deep — is perfectly suited to enhance the living room or the bedroom, where lighting becomes an expression of style and creative freedom. The dimmable function allows the light intensity to be adjusted to suit the desired atmosphere, while the IP20 protection rating defines its use in indoor environments. The light source is not included, leaving the freedom to choose the preferred LED bulb.
