Cattaneo Biquadro suspension lamp

Cattaneo Biquadro is a suspension lamp with a contemporary geometric design, manufactured by Cattaneo in high-quality metal with a grey finish. Its clean, rigorous square silhouette conceals a sophisticated lighting system designed to combine aesthetics and functionality in a single piece of design furniture with a strong identity.

The defining feature of Biquadro is its pivoting central section, which allows the light output to be freely modulated between direct and indirect emission. When oriented downwards, the movable part concentrates a precise, targeted beam, ideal for illuminating dining tables or work surfaces. Tilted upwards, it instead diffuses enveloping indirect light that enhances the sense of warmth and depth in the room. The LEDs integrated along the perimeter of the fixed section radiate soft, constant light in every configuration, ensuring lighting continuity regardless of the chosen angle. Thanks to these qualities, Biquadro suits both the living room and the kitchen, where precise illumination above a countertop or dining table is essential.

From a technical standpoint, the lamp features an integrated LED source of 4×8W + 4×15W, delivering a total luminous flux of 11,200 lm at a colour temperature of 3000 K warm white. It is dimmable via phase cut, allowing light intensity to be adjusted to suit different scenarios. The input voltage is 220–240 V, insulation class I, and the IP20 protection rating confirms its suitability for indoor use. Dimensions are 550 mm per side with a maximum total height of 1300 mm, suspension included. On request, the lamp is also available in 2700 K or 4000 K colour temperatures, enabling even more tailored integration into any lighting project.
