Buzzi & Buzzi Genius Basic Slope recessed spotlight

Buzzi & Buzzi Genius Basic Slope is a fully concealed recessed spotlight for interiors, designed by Buzzi & Buzzi for the contract sector. Made from Coral, an extremely resistant and hypoallergenic material, this luminaire stands out for its compact profile, which allows installation in cavities as shallow as 80 mm, making it suitable for both ceilings and walls as a path marker. The asymmetrical light hole features an axis inclined at 40°, with a 20 mm aperture and a 90×90 mm body, ensuring seamless architectural integration.

With a luminous output of 540 lm from a 4.5W LED source, the Genius Basic Slope delivers high-quality light with a CRI greater than 90, available in colour temperatures of 2700K or 3000K and beam angles of 24° or 40°, the latter ideal for an effective wall-washer effect. The 700mA driver is not included and must be purchased separately; the universal input voltage (100–240 V) ensures compatibility with EU, AUD, USA, UK and JAP standards. A dedicated system allows the electrical component to be extracted directly from the light hole, making maintenance and LED source replacement straightforward. It is an excellent choice for design-oriented residential and commercial environments, such as a living room, bedroom, or contract spaces requiring discreet and high-performance technical lighting.
