Astep Model 537 LED Table Lamp in Brass for Indoor

Astep Model 537 is an LED table lamp in brass for indoor use, originally designed by Gino Sarfatti in 1950 and faithfully reissued by Astep. The lamp stands out for its combination of precious materials — a carefully twisted brass stem, a large asymmetrically mounted aluminium reflector and an elegant marble base — which together create a refined interplay of visual and structural balance. It is available in three finishes: brass structure with white reflector and white marble base, brass structure with black reflector and white marble base, or black structure with black reflector and black marble base.

The Model 537 embodies one of Sarfatti's most visionary ideas: making light portable. The stem extends through and beyond the reflector, forming a practical handle that allows the lamp to be carried effortlessly from room to room. It is the ideal companion for the living room, the bedroom, or any space calling for diffused light and distinctive design. The 4.5 W LED source with E26-E27 lampholder is included and delivers a diffused light emission, with a protection rating of IP20 for indoor environments and a 1800 mm power cord. The lamp is not dimmable. Overall dimensions are 400 mm in diameter and 360 mm in total height, ensuring an elegant yet understated visual presence.
