Astep Model 238/1 wall lamp

Model 238/1 is part of the Le Sfere collection created by designer Gino Sarfatti in 1959 and revived in 2018 in new versions, slightly larger than Model 237/1. For this collection, the designer was inspired by the sky and luminous bodies, a constant presence in his projects and in his life, in fact the moon is his real inspiration for this collection. The blown opal glass lunar sphere is supported by a graphic steel ring. Sphere and ring embrace each other, to give life to a very elegant distinctive aesthetic. This model has an ideal light for interior environments of all kinds and designs, from simple to exclusive, from classic to modern. The very warm color temperature of 2700K fully reflects the ambient moonlight that Sarfatti was aiming for. Furthermore, each sphere can be directed downwards or upwards to provide direct or indirect lighting, as the ring has a small cutout from which to move the diffuser. An applique to describe the genius and beauty of Italian design.
