Astep Model 237/1 Wall Lamp

Astep Model 237/1 is a wall lamp belonging to the iconic Le Sfere collection, designed by Italian design master Gino Sarfatti in 1959 and reissued in 2018 in new versions. The inspiration comes from the moon and luminous bodies, a constant presence in Sarfatti's creative vision: a sphere of blown opal glass embraced by a graphic steel ring, creating a distinctive and exceptionally elegant aesthetic. The blown glass diffuser produces a soft, enveloping quality of light, with a colour temperature of 2700 K that fully captures the warm, ambient moonlight that inspired the designer.

Conceived to bring refined character to interior spaces, the Astep Model 237/1 fits naturally in the living room, the bedroom, and any residential environment, from classic to contemporary. Each sphere can be oriented downwards or upwards thanks to a small cutout in the ring, allowing a choice between direct or indirect light emission to suit different decorative and lighting needs. The lamp features an E14 lampholder, operates at 220-240 V, and is supplied complete with an included LED bulb delivering a luminous flux of 470 lm. With dimensions of 140×203×150 mm and a protection rating of IP20, it is designed exclusively for indoor use. The 1500 mm switch cable ensures ease of operation.
