Astep Model 1081 led floor lamp

Astep Model 1081 is a LED floor lamp designed by the master Gino Sarfatti, originally conceived at the end of the 1950s and reissued in 2023 by Astep as part of the iconic Le Sfere collection. The metal structure features a slender, minimal black rod crowned by a perfectly balanced spherical diffuser with a 200 mm diameter: a landmark of Italian design that merges sculpture and diffused light into a single, essential form.

The lamp's strong visual presence, achieved through the utmost formal restraint, makes it an outstanding choice for the living room, the bedroom, or open-plan, retail and hospitality environments. Model 1081 is available in two heights — 1680 mm and 1820 mm — to suit a variety of interior proportions. The integrated foot dimmer on the cable allows effortless adjustment of light intensity, producing a soft and enveloping diffused emission. The lamp uses an E26/E27 socket with a maximum power of 60 W, compatible with LED bulbs (not included; a dimmable bulb is recommended to make full use of the dimming function). The universal voltage range of 100–240 V, insulation class II and protection rating IP20 confirm its suitability for indoor use. The cable length is 2000 mm, and both the base and the sphere share the same 200 mm diameter.
