Artemide Vitruvio LED Floor Lamp in Blown Glass

Artemide Vitruvio Floor is a LED floor lamp in blown glass designed by Atelier Oï for Artemide, in which mechanical intelligence becomes pure aesthetic expression. At the heart of the project lies an ingenious mechanism inspired by watchmaking: three movable metal rods are inserted inside the sphere and open within the diffuser, supporting the glass globe through precise geometry and a careful balance of weights. The blown glass diffuser, shaped by an optical intelligence during the blowing process, features horizontal relief lines that prevent direct view of the light source, limiting glare and delivering a diffused, even light emission. Glass and structure are two independent elements, held together by a simple and easily reversible mechanical gesture — a testament to a design approach that seamlessly unites materials, vision and technology with elegance and poetic sensibility.

The Vitruvio Floor is conceived to enrich residential spaces where quality design reveals itself through attention to detail and the careful selection of materials. It is ideally suited for the living room or the bedroom, where soft, enveloping light creates a refined and welcoming atmosphere. The lamp is available in two finishes: brass structure with transparent diffuser, or black structure with fumè diffuser, allowing it to complement a variety of interior styles. With a total height of 1769 mm, a base diameter of 350 mm and a diffuser diameter of 400 mm, the Vitruvio Floor commands the space with scenic presence without visually overwhelming the room. The 21 W LED source with E26-E27 lampholder is not included and is compatible with dimmer systems to adjust light intensity as needed. The IP20 protection rating designates this lamp for indoor use, while the 100-240 V input voltage and compatibility with EU, USA, UK, Australian and Japanese electrical networks make it a truly versatile choice worldwide.
