Tolomeo Mega Suspension is the iconic Artemide suspension lamp, designed by Michele de Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina, a milestone of Italian design that combines formal precision with timeless elegance. The structure is crafted in black aluminium with transparent methacrylate details, while the black fabric diffuser with a 520 mm diameter is supported by a plastic frame. The slender suspension cable also serves as the power cable, lending the lamp a light and almost weightless appearance. Light emission is direct, directed primarily downwards, enhancing the visual quality of the space and allowing the shade to glow with a refined, welcoming warmth.
