Artemide Tizio Classic Floor combines Richard Sapper's iconic 1972 lamp with the original Artemide A087700 floor support, transforming one of the most celebrated classics of Italian design into a refined floor lamp. The classic version retains its famous balanced arms, adjustable head and innovative cable-free electrical system, delivering adjustable direct light with two intensity levels. The structure is crafted in black painted polycarbonate, with an adjustable width between 780 and 1080 mm and an adjustable length between 315 and 660 mm, ensuring precise adaptation to any space.

Awarded the prestigious Compasso d'Oro in 1979 and part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, Tizio stands as one of the most significant achievements in Italian industrial design. Throughout its history it has also received several international awards, including the Casamica Award (1973), the BIO 9 Gold Medal (1981) and the Haus Industrieform Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen Award (1980). The lamp is compatible with one GY6.35 LED or halogen light source up to 35W (bulb not included) and features a universal input voltage of 100–240V. The dimmable function allows light intensity to be adjusted across two levels, while the IP20 protection rating makes it suitable exclusively for indoor use. For energy-efficient and warm-toned illumination, a 2.5W LED GY6.35 bulb is recommended.
