Stellar Nebula is a collection of suspension lamps designed by the group of architects, designers and thinkers BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group). It is a family of lamps designed to interpret and enhance artisan glass blowing, with innovative finishing techniques. Values, roles and limits of industrial and artisanal production are the fulcrum of this design idea, which aims to find a solution of industrial uniqueness. Three different sizes of blow molds always generate unique pieces. The glass that is created is then treated with a new dichroic finishing process. Artisan wisdom and industrial innovation come together in the beauty of the material that enhances the magic of the interaction between glass and light. Stellar Nebula can be connected to a tablet or smartphone via Bluetooth, then just download the Artemide APP (available free for iOS and Android) to control the sources.
