Description
Stellar Nebula is a collection of lamps designed by the group of architects, designers and thinkers BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group). It is a family of lamps designed to interpret and enhance the artisan glass blowing, with innovative finishing techniques. Values, roles and limits of industrial and artisan production are the fulcrum of this design idea, which aims to find a solution of industrial uniqueness.
In the ceiling version, the master glassmaker accentuates the uniqueness of each piece by remodeling its geometry after blowing it into the mould. The crystal glass is treated with a sustainable PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) vacuum metallization process. Steel and aluminum structure, technopolymer reflector, blown crystal glass diffuser with dichroic treatment.
