Artemide Stellar Nebula is a LED ceiling lamp in iridescent glass, part of the collection designed by BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group), the internationally acclaimed collective of architects, designers and thinkers. Conceived to interpret and enhance artisan glass blowing through innovative finishing techniques, this lamp family explores the boundary between industrial production and handcrafted manufacturing, pursuing a solution of industrial uniqueness that makes every single piece one of a kind. The structure is crafted in steel and aluminium, with a technopolymer reflector and a blown crystal glass diffuser treated with a sustainable PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) vacuum metallization process, which imparts the distinctive iridescent dichroic finish.

In the ceiling version, the master glassmaker manually remodels the geometry of each piece after mould-blowing, further accentuating the individuality of every lamp. The result is a fixture of extraordinary character, perfectly suited to enhance a living room or a bedroom with its sculptural presence and enveloping light. The integrated 20 W LED source delivers a colour temperature of 3000 K (warm white) with a CRI 90 colour rendering index, ensuring outstanding chromatic accuracy and a diffused emission that fills the room with soft, even illumination. The control driver is included, and the lamp is compatible with 100–240 V input voltages, making it suitable for installations worldwide. The IP20 protection rating confirms its suitability for indoor use. With a diameter of 300 mm and a canopy included, Stellar Nebula mounts to the ceiling with understated elegance, transforming any interior into a space where functional lighting meets applied art.
