Artemide Sintesi table lamp

Artemide's Sintesi, introduced in 1975 and designed by founder Ernesto Gismondi, is an icon of Italian design. Created as part of an intelligent, modular system, the table lamp version represents the original core of the collection and reflects the designer's pragmatic and functional approach. The structure, composed of a few curved metal elements, is essential but extremely versatile: two C-shaped profiles of different lengths create a Y-shaped support, allowing the height and angle to be easily adjusted with a simple opening and closing movement. The light source is integrated into an adjustable frame with an E27 socket, which also houses a reflector and a protective grille, ensuring compatibility with different bulbs and adaptability over time. Sintesi can also be folded for transport or compact packaging.
