Artemide Shogun Historic Adjustable Table Lamp

The Shogun metal table lamp is part of the Master 'Pieces collection by Artemide. It was conceived in 1968 by the Swiss architect Mario Botta. Now exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum in New York, this lamp has become an icon. Shogun has similarities with Botta's architectural constructions: control of light, search for a simplicity of forms in a balance of richness and sobriety. Shogun consists of a painted metal stem, on which two adjustable diffusers in perforated plate steel are articulated. The perforated structure creates beautiful plays of light and shadow that can be positioned as desired by orienting the speakers. Shogun is a bright object, beautiful even when it is off, which finds space in living areas, bedrooms, studies but also commercial and public spaces. Requires an 8 Watt LED bulb, or alternatively a 150 Watt Halogen bulb, with E27 socket. It is available in white color.
