Artemide Piroscafo floor lamp

Artemide Piroscafo is the outdoor LED floor lamp designed by Ernesto Gismondi for Artemide, one of the most iconic names in design lighting worldwide. Inspired by steamboats, the lamp's name reflects a subtly minimalist and chic aesthetic that gives it a distinctive and elegant character. The body is crafted from die-cast aluminium with a three-stage outdoor treatment — nanotechnologies, antioxidant primers and polyester painting — ensuring outstanding resistance to all weather conditions. The screen is made of impact-resistant, anti-UV glossy polycarbonate, paired with a Furukawa reflector. Piroscafo is available in three finishes: Grey, Rust and Green.

Thanks to its IP65 rating, Piroscafo is specifically designed for outdoor use, where it stands out for combining structural robustness with refined aesthetic quality. The light source is an integrated 14 W LED with a colour temperature of 3000 K — warm white — and a colour rendering index of CRI90, ensuring faithful and natural colour reproduction of surrounding surfaces and environments. The light emission is diffused and direct, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere without compromising on efficiency. The luminaire operates at 220-240 V, belongs to insulation class I and is not dimmable. Fixing screws and silicone gaskets complete the package, ensuring a sturdy and watertight installation.
