Artemide Nesso table lamp

Artemide Nesso is a table lamp that has become an international icon of futuristic and democratic design. Created in the 1960s by the visionary mind of Giancarlo Mattioli for Artemide, Nesso was among the first lamps to introduce industrial materials and methods into domestic interiors. Its unmistakable mushroom-shaped body in ABS — with an upper diameter of 540 mm and a height of 340 mm — unfolds into iconic curves that make it a true collectible, expressive and internationally acclaimed. Part of the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art, Nesso is far more than a lamp: it is a manifesto of twentieth-century design.

Thanks to its bold chromatic character and striking presence, Nesso fits naturally into the living room as well as the bedroom or the office, where it combines functionality with a strong aesthetic identity. The lamp features four E14 screw-fit lampholders, compatible with 5 W LED bulbs — for a total absorbed power of 20 W — and an integrated switch for everyday convenience. The power supply is universal, with an input voltage of 100–240 V compatible with EU, AUS, USA, UK and Japanese standards. The degree of protection is IP20, suitable for dry indoor environments.
