Its formal architecture is built on essential geometric elements — a polycarbonate and methacrylate shade, a tilted aluminium stem, and a minimal-contact joint — combined with precision to achieve a striking visual balance. The composition reveals Artemide's savoir-faire: apparently simple, yet refined in every constructive detail. The lampshade, a lightweight plastic volume enclosed by two diffusers, generates both direct and indirect light that is soft and enveloping, while the inclination of the stem is visually counterbalanced by the volume of the shade itself.
