Artemide La Linea SMD led light tube

La Linea SMD by Artemide Architectural is a flexible LED light tube made from silicone, designed to offer complete compositional freedom in interior spaces. Its cylindrical, pliable structure allows the tube to rotate freely through space, tracing fluid, curved or interlaced geometries to suit the designer's vision. The LEDs are integrated directly into the tube at 15W per metre, with a colour temperature of 3000K warm white and an all-round 360° light emission, supported by a high colour rendering index of CRI 95. Available in two lengths — 2500 mm and 5000 mm — it operates at 220-240V input voltage, includes an integrated driver, and carries an IP20 protection rating for indoor use.

La Linea SMD stands out for its remarkable versatility: it can be fixed to the ceiling or wall via the two cylindrical end elements housing the driver, or left to hang freely down to the floor when anchored on one side only. The included ceiling or wall supports — 5 for the 2.5 m version and 10 for the 5 m version — allow the chosen shape to be held firmly in place, enabling soft, linear or elaborate compositions. Multiple tubes can also be layered and intertwined to create sculptural installations from a single continuous luminous line.
