Artemide Ixa Reading led floor lamp

Artemide Ixa Reading is an integrated LED floor lamp designed by Artemide and Foster+Partners, conceived for indoor environments and defined by a minimal, elegant aesthetic that combines formal precision with a sustainable design philosophy. Built in aluminium and steel, Ixa Reading features a spherical head-diffuser connected to a fixed rod via an innovative magnetic system that allows the diffuser to be completely detached and repositioned with 360° freedom of movement. This design choice makes the light emission variable, adaptable and dynamic, drawing inspiration from Alexander Calder's kinetic sculptures in its balance between form and function.

Ixa Reading integrates naturally into both residential and contract settings, making it an ideal choice for the living room as well as the bedroom, where the quality of reading light is essential. The integrated 10 W LED delivers direct light at a colour temperature of 3000 K (warm white) with a CRI 90 colour rendering index, ensuring accurate and comfortable colour perception. The lamp is dimmable thanks to the integrated driver, operating at 220–240 V with an IP20 protection rating for indoor use. The structure measures 1053×428 mm with a base diameter of 250 mm, and delivers a luminous flux of 700 lm.
