Artemide Ixa Arm XL ceiling lamp

Artemide Ixa Arm XL is a ceiling lamp developed in collaboration between Artemide and Foster + Partners Industrial Design, reinterpreting the concept of elegant balance inspired by Alexander Calder. Its long arm structure — 1878 mm — crafted in aluminium, steel and technopolymer is calibrated with counterweights that ensure stability and freedom of orientation, while the adjustable spherical head allows precise directional control of the light beam. The outcome is a piece of architectural design that is at once restrained and visually commanding.

Thanks to integrated dim-to-warm LED technology, Ixa Arm XL varies its colour temperature between 1800 and 3000 K, adapting the quality of light to the desired atmosphere — from warm, intimate tones to a more neutral white. With an absorbed power of just 14 W and a CRI 90 colour rendering index, it delivers faithful colour reproduction and soft direct-emission light. Dimming is compatible with Push, DALI and 0–10 V systems, making it equally suited to residential and professional environments. The IP20 protection rating and universal 100–240 V input voltage simplify integration into projects of varying scale.
