Artemide Granito led floor lamp

Artemide Granito is an outdoor floor lamp by Artemide, available in two cubic versions — 60 cm tall or 30 cm low — crafted entirely from corten steel, a material naturally resistant to corrosion and distinguished by a striking industrial aesthetic. The slots on each side of the structure cast direct beams of light straight onto the ground, turning the lamp into both a decorative piece and an effective path marker. The light source is an integrated 11W LED, complete with driver and universal input voltage of 100-240 V.

Granito is designed to enhance gardens and terraces and outdoor spaces in general, where it can be used to mark pedestrian paths, illuminate borders or create evocative floor-level lighting compositions. The IP65 protection rating ensures full suitability for outdoor use, while the power cable is watertight with IP68 protection. The ground anchoring flange is made of steel with a three-stage treatment — nanotechnology, antioxidant primer and polyester coating — to guarantee long-lasting durability. A CRI80 colour rendering index ensures a natural and accurate visual output, and the lamp is rated Insulation Class I. The emission is non-dimmable, with exclusively direct light output.

Corten steel is coated with a natural oxide layer that stabilises 16 to 24 months after installation. During this period, the material may release rust dust capable of staining the surfaces beneath it: Artemide therefore advises against placing Granito on sensitive surfaces such as light-coloured stone or marble. The colour of corten steel evolves over time depending on atmospheric conditions and sun exposure, eventually settling into a characteristic tobacco shade once stabilisation is complete. To reduce dust release during the initial phase, beeswax for wood may be applied with a soft cloth, repeating the treatment as needed until the oxide is fully stabilised.
