Artemide Falkland 165 led Suspension Lamp in Filanca

The Falkland 165 suspension is a design lamp characterized by a cocoon-like diffuser. Its shape comes from the tension of a filanca tube and from the weight of some metal rings: it is a spontaneous shape, generated only by the tension of the internal forces that compose it. Seven metal rings of different diameters, a white wire tube, a single light bulb and an aluminum reflector that takes up the shape of the curves of the fabric. Very sophisticated, this lamp fascinates the observer for its suggestive and original design. In addition to being a decorative object, Falkland illuminates the environment in a general and diffused way. The light emission is soft thanks to the fabric that acts as a filter and delicately distributes the light in the surrounding environment. The light source requires an 8 Watt Dimmable LED bulb (recommended for greater energy savings), or a 77 Watt Halogen bulb, both with E27 socket. This lamp corresponds more than the others to the requirements that Munari indicates as indispensable for a correct design: simplicity, efficiency, minimum storage space and maximum formal yield.
