Artemide Empatia is the integrated LED wall and ceiling lamp designed by De Bevilacqua for Artemide, a sophisticated luminaire that combines advanced optical technology with refined craftsmanship. Its core is a high-performance LED light engine, conceived separately from the glass emissive body to optimise thermal and energy efficiency. Light is guided with maximum output to the blown glass diffuser through a transparent light pipe with an extremely low absorption coefficient. The diffuser itself is crafted following the oldest traditions of Venetian glassmakers, achieving a carefully studied balance between opacity and transparency that results in a delicate white colouring, producing a light that is enveloping yet never glaring.

Empatia stands out for its pure, artisanal design that plays on the balance between surface and light, between subtle densities and transparencies, making it an ideal choice for the living room and for the bedroom, where its warm 3000 K light temperature creates relaxing and welcoming atmospheres. The lamp is available in three sizes, each with distinct technical specifications. The Empatia 160 model, measuring 191×160 mm, features an 11 W LED with a luminous flux of 567 lm and is not dimmable. The Empatia 260 model, measuring 289×260 mm, is equipped with a 16 W LED delivering 710 lm and features a Push dimmer. The Empatia 360 model, measuring 382×360 mm, is powered by a 24 W LED with a flux of 1273 lm and also includes a Push dimmer. All three models operate at 220-240 V, carry an IP20 rating for indoor use and belong to Insulation Class I.
