Artemide Eggboard Circular suspension lamp

Artemide Eggboard Circular is a suspension lamp designed by Progetto CMR – Giacobone & Roj for Artemide Architectural, conceived to combine direct/indirect light emission with high-performance sound absorption in a single architectural element. The cylindrical body, defined by its distinctive sinusoidal cross-section, is crafted from a double-sided sound-absorbing material that reduces reverberation and traps sound waves, optimising speech frequencies for superior acoustic comfort. The white inner felt reflects light evenly, while the cylindrical shape of the diffuser partially shields the central emitting surface, producing enveloping, glare-free illumination.

The internal mixing chamber and high-transmittance optical diffuser ensure comfortable lighting with a UGR below 21, making Eggboard Circular particularly well suited to environments where both visual and acoustic quality are essential. The integrated LED source, non-replaceable, operates at 220–240 V with a colour temperature of 3000 K (warm white) and a colour rendering index of CRI 90, ensuring faithful colour reproduction and a refined atmosphere. The IP20 rating confirms suitability for indoor use. The luminaire is DALI dimmable with APP compatibility via a separately supplied kit, offering full flexibility in light management. Eggboard Circular is available in two sizes: the Ø 630 mm version (height 359 mm) has a power output of 33W + 30W, while the Ø 930 mm version (height 359 mm) delivers 85W + 30W. A version with a neutral colour temperature of 4000 K and direct light emission is available on request.
