Description
Criosphere is a blown and recycled glass diffuser inspired by the purity and memory of polar ice. Its shape evokes the ice cores extracted from the ice caps, true archives of time that guard the history of our climate. Each diffuser is unique, shaped by hand with irregular surfaces etched into the warm glass, where light refracts and diffuses as on the frozen expanses of Antarctica.
This poetic object, the result of scientific research, craftsmanship and design, is designed to house an optoelectronic motor inside that disappears from view, leaving room only for light. The product for sale is exclusively the diffuser. The table and floor bases can be purchased separately.
