Artemide Curiosity Sphere battery lamp

Artemide Curiosity Sphere is a portable battery lamp by Artemide that combines an exhibitive and relational vocation within a single, essential form. Its lightweight aluminium structure in a neutral black finish consists of a support base and a small spot at the top, complemented by a white glass sphere that diffuses a warm amber glow. The 1.7W LED source delivers a CRI80 colour rendering at a 3000K warm white temperature, creating an enveloping and high-quality atmosphere. The lamp is dimmable across three intensity levels: at 1.7W it provides up to 8 hours of battery life, at 1.2W up to 11 hours, and at 0.5W it achieves up to 26 hours of freedom from the power grid, making it ideal for extended and flexible use.

Thanks to its portability and outstanding autonomy, Curiosity Sphere adapts effortlessly to a wide range of settings. In the living room or bedroom it becomes a luminous décor element that enhances objects and decorative compositions, with the base acting as a fully illuminated display frame. It is equally suited to restaurants, exhibitions, retail spaces and other public contexts, where it enables the creation of flexible and mobile displays, reinventing spatial arrangements with an intimate and elegant atmosphere. Charging is via USB with a universal input compatible with voltages from 100 to 240V and EU, AUD, USA, UK and JAP adapters, while the output is 5V DC. The IP20 protection rating restricts use to indoor environments. Overall dimensions are 360x180 mm, with the base available in 150x150 or 180x180 mm.
