Artemide Castore table lamp

Artemide Castore is a graceful and contemporary table lamp designed by Michele De Lucchi and Huub Ubbens for Artemide. Its milky white blown glass diffuser produces a soft and enveloping diffused light emission, while the thermoplastic resin stem serves an essential structural role: channelling light into the shaded area of the lamp and ensuring a uniform, harmonious distribution. A zamak base completes an elegant silhouette that recalls classic forms reinterpreted through a modern lens.

Conceived for residential, retail and hospitality settings, Castore adapts naturally to a wide range of interiors. It is a refined choice for the living room or the bedroom, where it can enhance a bedside table or hallway console with its gentle, diffused glow. The lamp is available in three versions distinguished by size and functionality. Castore Small 14 accommodates an LED E14 light source with a maximum power of 5W and measures Ø14x31.4x13 cm. Castore Medium 25 accepts an LED E27 source up to 13W, with dimensions of Ø25x55x20 cm. Castore Large 35, the most substantial version, supports an LED E27 source up to 21W and reaches dimensions of Ø35x66x27 cm. The Medium and Large versions feature an integrated touch dimmer on the stem, allowing light intensity to be adjusted with a simple touch, the last set light level to be memorised, and a choice between local and remote control. The Small 14 version, with its E14 lamp holder, does not include dimming functionality. All versions operate at a voltage of 220-240 V, are rated IP20 for indoor use and belong to Insulation Class II. The LED bulb is not included.
