Artemide Castore floor lamp

Artemide Castore is a refined floor lamp with classic, clean lines, designed by Michele De Lucchi and Huub Ubbens for Artemide. Its white blown glass diffuser lends the lamp a timeless elegance and a soft, candid luminosity, while the thermoplastic resin stem serves as the structural and luminous core, ensuring light passes through to the shaded area of the sphere and enhancing its essential spherical geometry. The diffused light emission creates a warm, enveloping atmosphere, perfectly suited to interior living spaces.

Conceived for residential, retail and hospitality environments, Castore fits seamlessly into a living room, a bedroom or an office, as well as dining rooms, lounges, entrance halls and waiting areas. The lamp features a touch dimmer integrated into the stem, allowing intuitive adjustment of light intensity, with the option to memorise the last brightness level set and to choose between local and remote control. The light source is a dimmable LED E27, with a maximum power of 21W, not included in the package. The lamp operates at an input voltage of 220-240 V, carries an IP20 rating for indoor use and belongs to Insulation Class II. Dimensions are Ø 35 x 182 x 34 cm.
