Artemide Alfa is a dimmable table lamp designed by Sergio Mazza in 1959, now part of the prestigious Artemide Master'Pieces collection. Created in deliberate contrast to the cold rationalist aesthetic of the 1960s, Alfa offers an ironic and refined reinterpretation of the classic abat-jour: its worked crystal diffuser evokes the delicate fabric pleating of a traditional lampshade, while the opaque nickel-plated metal structure, the marble base and the hand-turned metal parts lend the piece an unmistakably precious character. An example of timeless elegance that elevates an everyday object into a true icon of Italian design.

Alfa stands out for its ability to enrich residential interiors with a warm, enveloping light at 2800 K, perfect for creating intimate and sophisticated atmospheres. Ideal for the living room or the bedroom, the lamp is compatible with LED or halogen light sources with an E14 screw fitting — not included — and reaches an absorbed power of 56 W with a luminous flux of 690 lm (configuration 2x30W halogen or 2x6W LED). The dimmable function allows the light intensity to be adjusted to suit different moods and needs.
