Flos Midna Bidirectional LED 18W Wall Outdoor

Flos Midna Bidirectional is an outdoor wall light by Flos Architectural, designed to deliver a dual LED light emission — upward and downward — in a single compact and refined fixture. The body and mounting base are made of die-cast aluminium EN AB-47100 alloy with low copper content, while the diffuser is crafted in ribbed polycarbonate, a combination that ensures structural durability and even light distribution. The version presented is finished in white, with compact dimensions: 220 mm width, 115 mm length, and 100 mm diameter.

With an IP65 protection rating and an advanced double-layer anti-corrosion coating compliant with QUALICOAT standards — combining a first layer of epoxy powder for chemical and mechanical resistance and a second polyester finishing layer for UV and weathering protection — the Midna Bidirectional is built for long-lasting installations in exposed environments. The production process includes preliminary sandblasting, alkaline and acid washing, demineralised water rinsing, and a chemical conversion treatment against rust, ensuring outstanding paint adhesion. The integrated 18W LED light source operates at 220-240 V with a built-in driver and delivers a warm white light at 3000 K, perfect for enhancing façades, entrances and outdoor spaces with a welcoming atmosphere. The fixture features two rubber cable glands suitable for cables with a diameter between 8 and 13 mm, and complies with EN60598-1 standards, insulation class I.
