Description

The Sugar Bowl was one of Michael Graves' first projects for Alessi and is part of one of the most famous and recognizable families of objects in contemporary design. The project expresses the distinctive visual language of the American designer, a personal formal code that combines references to Art Deco, Pop Art, and suggestions inspired by the world of cartoons. Thanks to this original and immediately recognizable design approach, the collection of which it is part has become an icon of international design in the 1980s and 1990s, still appreciated today for its ability to combine function, aesthetics, and character.
