Alessi Pulcina cafetteria espresso

Alessi Pulcina is the iconic espresso coffee maker designed by Michele De Lucchi for Alessi, crafted in cast aluminum with handles and knob in polyamide (PA). Its defining feature is the celebrated chick's beak-shaped spout, engineered to stop the coffee flow at the precise moment the extraction reaches its aromatic peak, before any bitter aftertaste can develop. The carefully calculated angle of the spout also allows it to perfectly "cut" the drop when pouring stops, eliminating drips entirely.

The Pulcina is available in three sizes: small (H165 × W125 × D72 mm, 7 cl, 1 cup), medium (H200 × W152 × D92 mm, 15 cl, 3 cups) and large (H260 × W200 × D120 mm, 30 cl, 6 cups). All three sizes are compatible with gas hobs and are available in red, black and total black. For those with an induction hob, the medium and large versions feature a magnetic steel base and are available in red and black.
