Alessi Pinch vase

Pinch vase by Alessi is a decorative object that transforms industrial simplicity into refined form. Designed by Adam Shirley, it originates from the reworking of a raw element: a square-section tube, cut and closed at one end with a welded base, then pinched to create a narrow yet generous mouth. The black PVD finish on 18/10 stainless steel gives the vase a material and contemporary appearance.

The narrow, elongated form allows for elegant and sophisticated floral compositions, or the insertion of a single flower with the stem locked at the center of the mouth. The base features four hemispherical depressions that ensure stability on any surface. With dimensions of 23 × 12.5 × 7.6 cm, the vase is versatile in office spaces, work desks, or shelves, where its essential geometry dialogues with both minimalist and detail-rich environments. Each constructive element — from the cut to the pinch — reveals the intentionality of the design, transforming a manual process into recognizable aesthetic character.
