Alessi Clivo tea spoon

Clivo teaspoon by Alessi is a design cutlery piece in 18/10 stainless steel, born from research into kitchen utensils that dialogues with the tradition of Japanese bamboo tools, where every shape emerges from a gesture of progressive carving of the material.

The name Clivo, from the Latin clivus meaning slope, evokes the descending line of carving, the process through which material is progressively removed to reach its final form. The collection was developed starting from prototypes hand-carved by a craftsman working closely with the designer, in a careful and meticulous search for constructive details. This teaspoon combines the formal simplicity of essential geometry with the precision of artisanal execution, the result of research rooted in the tradition of kitchen utensils.
