Alessi presents a knife that embodies the carving gesture, where material is progressively shaped to achieve an essential and functional form.

    The design is the result of meticulous research, developed through hand-sculpted prototypes by a modeler working alongside the designer, who refined every detail of the silhouette. The name Clivo, from the Latin for slope or descending line, evokes the carving movement and the progressive removal of material. The AISI 420 stainless steel blade ensures precise and reliable cuts, while the ergonomic shape follows the principle of constructive simplicity. This fruit knife integrates naturally at the table, combining the durability of stainless steel with an aesthetic that recalls the essentiality of artisanal tools.
