Hotel Voyeur by Seletti is a table lamp designed by Tracey Snelling, an object that goes beyond traditional lighting to become a true contemporary art installation. Inspired by the façade of a hotel, it combines an illuminated LED sign, architectural details and integrated video displays to create a unique visual storytelling experience where light, design and moving images come together.
Designed by American artist Tracey Snelling in collaboration with Seletti, Hotel Voyeur reinterprets urban architecture through a poetic and cinematic perspective. The original concept recreates the façade of a small hotel featuring six windows and an open entrance. Hidden within the structure, two LED displays play artistic five-minute looping videos set inside hotel rooms, inviting viewers to imagine the stories unfolding behind each illuminated window.
The illuminated LED sign provides a soft, adjustable glow that enhances the intimate atmosphere created by the installation. Powered via USB-C, Hotel Voyeur fits naturally into a living room, a bedroom or a creative office, where it immediately becomes the visual centerpiece of the space.
The fusion of lighting, video art and storytelling makes Hotel Voyeur one of the most original creations in the Seletti collection. Rather than simply illuminating a room, it encourages viewers to pause, observe and imagine the lives hidden behind its miniature windows. Its cinematic and narrative approach transforms every moment into an immersive artistic experience.
Hotel Voyeur perfectly reflects Seletti's creative philosophy, blending contemporary art, design experimentation and functional lighting. Through its collaboration with Tracey Snelling, Seletti has created an object capable of inspiring curiosity and emotion while redefining the role of decorative lighting.
