Pholc Concave 10 suspension lamp

Concave 10 by Pholc is an anodised aluminium pendant lamp designed by Nick Ross, characterised by an essential aesthetic that combines sculptural forms with industrial-inspired details. With compact dimensions of Ø 10 × H 20 cm, its structure brings together a cylindrical base, directing light downwards with softly fading edges, and a geometric upper element defined by concave surfaces. Light also travels upwards, creating a soft and subtle halo effect that enhances the distinctive geometry of the lamp. The satin finish of the anodised aluminium interacts with the light through reflections and subtle variations across the surface, while the different colours available allow Concave to adapt to a variety of interior settings.

Designed with repetition and multiple compositions in mind, Concave 10 can be used individually or combined with several elements to create rhythmic installations above a dining table, counter or within larger spaces such as the living room or the kitchen. It features an E27 socket for a light source up to 12 W, not included, with dimming depending on the bulb selected. The 300 cm black PVC cable and black metal ceiling cup complete the design while providing flexibility during installation. With an IP20 protection rating and Class I insulation, the lamp is designed for indoor residential and contract environments. Concave embodies an essential and carefully considered approach to lighting design, enriching the simplicity of its form through the relationship between light, concave surfaces and anodised aluminium.
