Martinelli Luce Pipistrello table lamp

Martinelli Luce Pipistrello is one of the most iconic table lamps in Italian design history, created by Gae Aulenti in 1965 and continuously produced by Martinelli Luce for over fifty years. Its structure features a satin stainless steel telescopic rod that allows height adjustment between 66 and 86 cm, topped by a wide white opal methacrylate diffuser with an unmistakable profile — its outward-spreading ribs evoke the open wings of a bat, giving the lamp a uniquely sculptural elegance. The base and knob are in painted aluminium, available in five finishes: Dark Brown, White, Glossy Black, Agave Green, and Natural Satin Brass. The diffuser diameter is 55 cm and the power cord reaches 245 cm in length.

Thanks to its diffused, warm 2700 K light, the Pipistrello creates an enveloping and refined atmosphere, perfect for the living room or bedroom. The light source is LED, with four E14 5 W bulbs included for a total absorbed power of 20 W and a combined luminous flux of 1880 lm, an average lifespan of 25,000 hours, and energy efficiency class A. The IP20 protection rating and compatibility with voltages from 100 to 240 V make it suitable for international use.
